Yesterday, I went to the What A Woman Wants Expo Show with my mom and sister-- it was fun and we got eyebrow waxes and tints, things for nails and some jewelry. But my favorite thing and I think the best deal we got was a photo-shoot for Emmett when he is born through Camera Shy. They have gorgeous pictures as you can see below and they gave us 3 free prints including a 11x14! Grandma Cheri bought it for a shower gift and it was only $89. I am super excited and think it's a great deal!!

{make room for baby: part 1}
So I am officially into my nesting stage of wanting to de-junk everything (3 DI trips in the last 4 weeks) and wanting to start on Baby E's room-- yes we can call him baby E. I originally wanted to paint the walls a light grey but daddy ex-nayed that idea so we played a game and each picked out 3 paint colors and then narrowed in on one...and it was Disney's Cinderella Blue or something dorky like that. I have to say I love it!
Some people might think that it's a tad bit too early for us to start on the room, but Pierce is literally going ALL day EVERY day and I will be thankful when I am too big to help in any way.
Obviously, it's still a work in progress-- like we need a mattress etc. but here is just a peak at before and after!
Here are some "before" pictures that I stole from Pierce's instagram, as you can see it was messy and was just an office.
My sweet husband hard at work painting! (He doesn't know I took this!)
And now, the "After"
{when you walk in}
{another angle of the room}
{the crib minus the mattress}

{Ikea dresser that was once mine, this is where we will put the changing pad}

{the closet- clearly needing some organization still...that's for another day}
{and my office is to the side by the closet- fits great}
So we still have a TON to do but I am happy with the improvements and painting! I think we will do a subtle jungle theme- and I don't even dare to say theme- I mainly want it to be colors but I found the following 2 pictures that we may use! My mom and I are going to make the bedding because I can't find anything I love or exactly what I am wanting. I am thinking Chevron and polka dots for the bedding in some fun colors!

{Halloween}
Pierce usually doesn't like having holiday decorations around unless it's Christmas, but he is warming up to the idea. So he and I have been gathering some super cute and fun Halloween decorations!
Happy Halloween!
{we've moved!}
So most of you heard that we moved- it's literally like 100 ft. away from our previous apartment. A 2 bed 2 bath came up so we took it! We really like it and I've posted some pictures below, everything is mostly set up the same as in our old place- but it's a lot more spacious and we are really liking the layout!

{living like kings}
So we recently upgraded our Queen bed for a King!
Here are a few pictures of the bed made the first couple of days while we were waiting for our headboard.
Also, when we first got married, we used all of Pierce's old bedroom things. We had these great nightstands but I personally wasn't crazy about the color. Here is a picture of our old bed and the nightstands....Pierce sanded & painted them antique white! They look awesome!
Next we got this little treat in the mail!
And here is our bed with the headboard! As you can see in the close up picture- it has awesome brads!We love our new bed and these little guys aren't complaining either!!

{Christmas at our house}
Well it’s that time of year again! Christmas time is one of the only holidays that Pierce thoroughly enjoys. Soooo on November 3rd yes, you read that correctly 3rd, starting buying and setting up our Christmas decorations and getting in the holiday season. So here are a few pictures of what we have so far, I hope you enjoy them!
{the tree} We decided to go with the classic red and green.
Santa's workshop was our theme.
Santas, sleighs, reindeer, bells- you name it!
Our Santa to go on top of the tree!
Here you can see the red ribbon with white pom poms! And my favorite part the "Ho Ho Ho" sign that we put down the front of it.
{Around the House}
This cute little Santa sign we found from TJMAX for a great deal!
